We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated Specialist Learning Support Assistant to deliver interventions, and to support children with additional needs across Key Stage 2.

27.5 hours per week, Term Time only

£12,639 - £13,950 per annum inclusive of Outer London Weighting (Academy Scale 4)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated Specialist Learning Support Assistant to deliver interventions, and to support children with additional needs across Key Stage 2. 


The role involves working with different children to help them to meet their targets, and to ensure that advice from outside agencies (e.g. speech and language, Occupational Therapy etc.) is implemented. It also involves delivering interventions, to enable children to make accelerated progress in an area they are finding difficult, e.g. maths, English or speech and language. Ongoing support, and training will be provided by the school, and there will be opportunities to train to deliver specific interventions.


You must have experience of delivering effective intervention to children in Key Stage 2. Previous training in specific interventions would be an advantage, and willingness to undertake further training a necessity.
