Specialist Teacher for SEMH

At Gascoigne Primary, we are very excited about our new SEMH Respite Provision that opened in September 2017. We are looking to appoint an amazing and forward thinking Specialist Teacher for SEMH with a nurturing and caring attitude to join our team of professionals.

You will have proven substantial classroom experience and in-depth knowledge of the curriculum, quality of teaching and learning, raising standards and assessment.  The school aims to provide a curriculum that is differentiated to meet the needs of all pupils. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom teacher, who enjoys finding creative ways to deliver the curriculum to children with special needs. 

In addition, you will have; •An in depth understanding of SEMH needs •Inspirational teaching strategies •An empathetic approach  •Ability to promote all-round excellence  •Excellent organisational skills  •A passion for life-long learning and a firm commitment to continued professional development  •The ability to work as part of a team •An ability to work collaboratively with parents/carers.
