Sports Centre Receptionist

Part Time (20 hours per week), 39 weeks per year, 2.00 pm - 6.00 pm Monday – Friday, to commence 23rd August 2021, permanent.

Salary: Pro rata of Points 1-6 of the Sixth Form College’s Support Staff pay spine, currently £17,372-£19,524 per annum. (Actual salary £8067.55-£9066.94)

We are looking to appoint a Receptionist to work in the College Sports Centre to be a welcoming and efficient first point of contact for students and users of the Sports Centre facilities. Duties will include the provision of an effective reception and booking service for students and staff, receiving payments and supporting the Sport, Performing and Visual Art Curriculum Area with general administration duties.   The post-holder will also be required to conduct health and safety risk assessments every day.

A pleasant telephone manner and excellent communication skills are essential for this customer service based role, as well as a desire to maintain high standards.  You will need to be organised and remain calm under pressure as you will be required to deal with multiple and varied situations in a timely and effective manner.   Excellent IT skills are required.
