Denstone College has a history of success at local, regional and national level across a range of sports and we are seeking to employ Sports Graduates for the 2023-2024 Academic Year to contribute to our sports, physical education and boarding programmes. 

Our sports department graduates will be involved in all aspects of the design and delivery of a programme including planning, coaching, and administration of our programmes. We are looking for individuals with experience as a player (ideally at university level) or early career coach in rugby, hockey, netball and cricket specifically and the willingness and skills to support a second sport. 

The role will include some team teaching, coaching and umpiring of sports teams. It would be beneficial to have umpiring and coaching awards in the sports indicated above. You will also help to prepare equipment for lessons and fixtures, and assist with the administration of fixtures to enable effective teaching and learning for all pupils in the College. 

Successful candidates should be confident, reliable, hardworking and have good interpersonal skills as well as showing a willingness to be involved in all areas of school life. 

Sports graduates who live on site will also be expected to contribute to the life of a busy boarding school.
