Are you an experienced STEM teacher who is looking for an exciting role abroad?
Tes is currently supporting an organic and private school located in the beautiful area of Torrelodones in Madrid, Spain. The school is looking to appoint a passionate and creative Secondary STEM teacher for the next academic year, in September 2021.
The school looks at the development and learning of children in an open way and understands that for them to develop their maximum potential the school must attend to the needs and interests of the students in a flexible way.
Based on a Tech Start-Up corporate cultural model, where there is no rigid hierarchy, teachers work as a team creating a better school climate. Collaboration between both levels -Elementary and Secondary – allows achieving our tailor-made academic programme.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years of teaching experience teaching STEM-related subjects
- Bachelors Degree with QTS or International equivalent
- Knowledge of coding: Python or JavaScript. It is appreciated certain knowledge of SQL
- Creative and inspirational approaches to learning and the curriculum.
- Excellent questioning skills.
- A commitment to making a positive difference
