The City of Stoke on Trent Sixth Form College is a thriving, lively and successful Sixth Form College, committed to social inclusion. The College is located in an award-winning, state of the art building at the heart of the University Quarter of Stoke on Trent, adjacent to Stoke Railway Station, providing excellent travel links. In September 2017, the College achieved academy status as part of the Potteries Educational Trust. STUDENT LIAISON & SECURITY OFFICER
(Part Time, Term time only)
Salary: £17,100 - £18,125 per annum, pro rata

The main focus of the role is on security, safeguarding and ensuring a safe, supportive and welcoming environment. The post holder will be part of the Student Services team and will take a lead in managing behaviour of students around the College and within the Learning Resources Centres as well as representing the college as required. The post holder will develop effective relationships with external agencies and parents to support the needs and progression of students.
This position is for 20 hours per week. There is some flexibility with working days per week and this will be confirmed upon appointment.
