Student Services Officer - Residential - Nights

With three back to back Ofsted Outstanding awards the Student Services Team at Plumpton College intends to build on this success through the creation of an expanded team which will further improve the student experience. The college has residential provision for up to 203 students and we are looking to recruit dynamic staff with a passion for supporting students and delivering a quality service.

This role will provide additional capacity to the Student Services Team and play a crucial role in pastoral, social, administrative and safeguarding aspects of the student’s college experience.

Ideal candidates will be professional, hardworking and confident team players with a proven ability to engage and support young people in a busy operational environment. 

We are in a beautiful location, and the choice of living on or off site is up to you. Those opting for on site living will be asked to undertake some on-call duties on a rota basis across the team. Those living off site should note that their own transport will be necessary owing to the rural location.

The actual salary for the role, based on a shift pattern of 4 nights on and 4 nights off (10 pm – 6 am) which will be up to £19,630 per annum.  You can also look forward to a great range of benefits including 26 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays (as well as up to 5 efficiency days), membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme, gym use,  Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle to Work scheme, staff discounts, as well as the option of on-site accommodation.
