Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a World Class School with high expectations, encouraging our students to be aspirational with their learning and to enjoy all aspects of school life. We are recruiting a Student Support Worker who will work as part of the specialist Inclusion team, to enable all students to reach their full potential, in particular those with social, emotional and behavioural needs. 

Our dedicated team, work with students one-to-one and in groups to remove barriers to learning and support other staff in managing social, emotional and behavioural concerns.  Using a range of support methods, our unique Student Support team, and work closely with Heads of Year, Form Tutors and our Student Welfare team.

You

Our ideal candidate with have some experience of working with emotional, social and behavioural issues in a school, sixth form or relevant context. You will ideally be educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent with excellent communication and team working skills, candidates with experience of working in social care, are particularly desirable. You will be comfortable using a range of Microsoft products including outlook and word, experience of using SIMS would be advantageous, however training will be provided. 

This post is full-time working Monday to Friday, term-time only. The hours for this post are 8am – 3.45pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on Fridays, inclusive of unpaid rest breaks.
