Croydon College is seeking to appoint an experienced Student Wellbeing Lead to join our Safeguarding & Wellbeing team.
This is an exciting opportunity based within our Safeguarding & Wellbeing team to develop and coordinate wellbeing and mental health support services for students, helping them to overcome barriers and realise their potential during their time at college.
You will also oversee the work of the Student Support Mentors, coordinating mentoring support for identified students to enhance their skills and knowledge relating to good mental health and distress tolerance, and our Student Experience Officers, overseeing the delivery of activities and events that support positive wellbeing, promotion of equality, and celebration of diversity.
You would be joining a motivated and experienced student focused team who are collaborative and proactive in their approach to supporting students to overcome barriers and achieve their potential. You will be based onsite at our Croydon campus.
Applicants must have relevant experience supporting young people with mental health difficulties, and experience of developing and promoting engagement activities.
