Smith’s Wood became an academy in April 2017 when it joined Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust, a family of four secondary schools in Birmingham and Solihull. This partnership enables the academy to share and develop practice as part of a wider group of academies and partners. We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking staff to join us on our journey to outstanding. 

We are seeking a Student Wellbeing Officer to support vulnerable students, develop and maintain links between the school and external agencies to ensure safety, well-being and safeguarding of all students.

FMAT Salary: SO2 - £30,451 FTE - £26,630.46 Actual

37 hours per week, Term-time only

Working Hours: - Monday - Thursday 08:00 until 16:00 and 08:00 until 15:30 on a Friday, to include half an hour unpaid lunch-break
