Westminster City School is a successful 11-18 Christian non-denominational comprehensive academy for boys with a mixed sixth form. Ours is a lively and vibrant learning community situated in the heart of central London with all the opportunities and advantages of an inner city school.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, dedicated Subject Leader of Business Studies who displays and expects excellence. Business Studies and enterprise activities are very popular with our pupils. Students are offered the opportunity to exploit the opportunities that our outstanding business links secure, situated as we are in the heart of Victoria's business district. This year pupils will visit PwC, Merrill Lynch, AT&T and Detsche Bank to name but a few. 

Outcomes in Business Studies are consistently high with a 100% pass rate at A Level (70% A*-B) and 100% pass rate at BTEC and APS of 5.87.

 “Leaders have designed the curriculum to meet the needs of pupils of all abilities.  The most able pupils sit GCSE examinations early and, if they meet their target early, can start A Level courses in Year 11”. Ofsted 2017.

We believe in developing our staff and have a dynamic and supportive management team. We also spend much of our time looking at what we can learn from other successful schools. The focus of our CPD programme draws on what research and pedagogical literature tells us works best in the classroom and we believe in coaching every teacher to be their very best. We benefit from a range of networks in Westminster and Southwark and we are at an exciting time in our school development.
