IMPORTANT INFORMATION

19th March, 2020.

We are recruiting for a number of key positions with the hope that schools will be re-opening in September, perhaps sooner if things improve. The recruitment process is going to be challenging due to not being able to meet in the event of a lockdown, so we must assume this process will have to become significantly more creative. So, we are continuing to advertise as we are planning to be fully staffed for September and to be raring to go for another year of remarkable education at LBS.

We propose to adopt one or several of these options in our recruitment process:

Candidates wanting to apply (this is beyond simply being ‘interested’ in knowing more) can have a telephone conversation with Michael Rennie, Director of School Improvement. Simply email m.rennie@lordswoodboys.co.uk  to arrange a mutually convenient time.

We may then invite you to a Skype (or similar online platform) interview.

We will require hard evidence of your achievements to date (for NQTs, lesson observation feedback would be helpful).

References will be essential.

Given that we cannot watch you teach, we have to put these steps in place to satisfy recruiting procedures. We hope you pursue your interest in working with us and we will try to work with you to enable as smooth an application process as possible.

All successful candidates will be appointed with full-time permanent contracts for September 2020.

Please consider this information carefully and if you wish to continue with your application, contact us via the email address above.

T: 0121-803 8140

Candidates will be required to submit the names of two referees, one of which must be your most recent employer.

Closing date: 4th May 2020.

Apply today and join our amazing success story.
