This is your opportunity to teach some of the most committed and intelligent secondary school students in the country as part of a highly skilled and cohesive team of Biologists and support staff. 

The key foci of this role within the department will be:

• To use the outstanding laboratory facilities, well established clubs and societies programme, and exceptional uptake of Biology at A level to develop passionate young Biologists who aspire to studying Biology and related fields at University;

• To use the opportunities afforded by the School’s Silver Status Charter marked CPD programme to create and communicate a bespoke vision for what excellent teaching, learning and assessment look like in Biology; 

• To use the generous CPD allocation to plan collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a curriculum which goes ‘beyond the specification’ to challenge young scientists, and develop a passion for Biology and its applications;

• To support the large number of our students who apply for Oxbridge, Medical and Dentistry places at University.
