REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2021 OR EARLIER

We are seeking to appoint for September 2021 or earlier if possible, an outstanding practitioner and a dynamic and inspirational teacher with a proven track record of raising standards of attainment in science.  You will demonstrate leadership qualities, management skills and the desire and commitment to lead a specialist team.  You will also make science exciting and relevant to the future of our pupils.

The successful candidate will have proven success in delivering all three Sciences throughout KS3 and Chemistry at KS4.  They will also be able to demonstrate positive outcomes for all groups of pupils and have the ability to engage and enthuse learners. A professional who is able to enthuse and engage pupils, and is determined to make a difference to children’s life choices.

Woodchurch High School is an exciting place to work.  It is a successful and oversubscribed 11 – 16 co-educational comprehensive. We enjoy state of the art facilities in our new building, designed to engage and motivate learners.  As an Academy committed to professional development, all new teaching staff will be expected to actively participate in evidence based-CPD programmes.
