South Dartmoor Community College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and creative Subject Leader of Computer Science to join a small but innovative department from September or October 2018. The successful candidate will be an inspiring, reflective practitioner who maintains high expectations for all students and is superb at building relationships with young people.

The Computer Science department at South Dartmoor teaches both GCSE Computer Science and Cambridge National Information Technology and has a good uptake for A Level Computer Science. The school has three suites of dedicated IT facilities, mainly running Dell Windows 7 Desktop (Windows 10 Summer 2019), Office 365 and Adobe Suite. There will be a possible opportunity to work with our Atrium Studio school to teach GCSE in a brand new environment running HP Windows 10 desktop throughout, Office 365, Autocad and Adobe Suites with all classrooms equipped with Full HD 80” touch screens.
