SUBJECT LEADER OF MATHEMATICS

Salary: Teachers Pay Scale plus TLR1B (£9,663)

Due to the retirement of our current Subject Leader of Mathematics, the Governing Body is seeking to appoint, with effect from 1st September 2019, an outstanding, motivated and inspirational individual to lead, manage and develop the curriculum and student development in our Mathematics faculty.  The post holder will be responsible for the staff line management of the Maths faculty whilst leading, developing and taking responsibility for the performance of the faculty staff. The faculty is a lively and innovative place to be, with a team of 11 enthusiastic and committed teachers.  This is a great opportunity for an exceptional and dynamic lead practitioner to play a pivotal role in a high-performing department.

The successful candidate will share our passion for education and demonstrate strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills.  He or she will be clearly in tune with our values and our ethos of “children first” and be totally committed to providing a deep and rewarding experience in Mathematics for all our students regardless of their academic ability.
