The Governing Body is now seeking to appoint an outstanding religious studies teacher to be an inspirational Subject Leader who will contribute significantly to raising standards in the school, developing the curriculum and enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. Improving progress and raising attainment in religious studies at all levels are key challenges for the school.

Applications are invited from successful teachers of religious studies who can demonstrate the ability to:

• enable pupils to achieve the highest possible standards

• work motivationally within a team of staff

• raise attainment in religious studies at all levels

• inspire students to love the subject through outstanding teaching

• work effectively with staff, parents and the community

The successful candidate will be required to have experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 and have an understanding of new curriculum developments for teaching religious studies.
