We wish to appoint, from September 2021, or earlier if possible, a well-qualified, dynamic and inspirational teacher of Religious Studies to this academically selective girls’ school. We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner, who will enable students to develop an understanding of religious education beyond the examination syllabus. HBS has a culturally diverse, multi-faith intake. Religious Studies is taught at KS3 to every student and is an option subject at GCSE. This is a Subject Leader post in a one-person Department.
Applicants must be able to teach Religious Studies at least to GCSE level.
A willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the Department and the school in general is desirable.
We are committed to the safeguarding of children and the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced disclosure and disbarring service check.
