St. Augustine’s C.E. High School is a medium sized mixed comprehensive school situated on the doorstep of central London, in Kilburn. We are looking to appoint a positive, self-motivated and ambitious PE practitioner for the position of Subject Leader of PE. The right candidate will have a track record of raising attainment and delivering outstanding lessons.
The successful candidate should:
- Be an outstanding teacher with the ability to model best practice in the classroom.
- Have excellent leadership skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with students and colleagues.
- have a proven track record in raising standards and achievement in PE
- Be innovative and a strategic thinker, able to turn ideas and opportunities into successful practice.

Our comprehensive secondary school’s results have improved significantly over the last few years and Key Stage 3 results are now above the national average.
