Support Teacher: Inclusive Education - Our Lady Help of Christians School, HENDRA

The successful applicant will:

 

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  
  

We are seeking a Support Teacher: Inclusive Education to work as part of our Student Support Team and Teaching and Learning Team. The successful person will be experienced in the classroom environment, in identifying and supporting students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities that impact on learning. Facility with NCCD processes would be advantageous.

Our Lady Help of Christians is a small family-friendly school on the northside of Brisbane, close to the Gateway Motorway and airport. The community is supportive, friendly, and deeply embedded in the Catholic ethos. The school has beautiful grounds and has developed contemporary learning facilities and engaging play spaces. The staff have a range of youth and experience. We seek to use technology to its optimum in teaching and learning, and all our students have their own devices. Estimated Start Date:  Commencing 23 April 2019, or sooner if the successful applicant is available.

Employment Tenure:   Part Time (Term Time) + Fixed Term

Tenure Duration (if "Fixed Term"):  Until the end of term 2 2019, but with possibility of continuing past that date.

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
