We are seeking for a Local Swim Coach, located in Singapore to join our dedicated Academic team.
About the role
Every child is encouraged to be active at DCIS. We believe that a strong mind needs a strong body and our Swim Coach makes sure that all children get the chance to be active, challenged and also learn to be confident in the water.
The curriculum at DCIS expands and builds upon the fundamental skills learnt during the primary years. The purpose is to support and allow all students to leave DCIS with the knowledge and knohow of how to maintain a healthy active life, whilst developing a passion for sport.
Students are taught the skills and rules to enable them to play a variety of games and develop their knowledge in a number of activities. Core fundamentals of sport are taught and pupils will develop their leadership skills both on and off of the playing field.
About you
Able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you will bring a university degree, a recognised teaching qualification and considerable teaching experience to the table. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the school’s level of achievement.
The ability to lead and develop a team, and to communicate clearly with all stakeholders is essential.
Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for Singapore.

Selection Process
The closing date for application is 6 January 2020. First stage interviews will be conducted by Skype or telephone and final interviews will take place at the Nord Anglia Education Recruitment Event in central London in the week commencing 21st January 2020 (alternative arrangements will be made for candidates who cannot attend in person).
