We are now looking to recruit a Systems Administrator to join us to maintain the data held in a number of internal applications and act as the first point of contact for college staff.

Providing support for college staff on all applications supported by the MIS department to include ProSolution, ProMonitor, ProAchieve, Smart Assessor, 4CAST including data maintenance/ cleansing and user account management, you will assist in the development of the college’s business systems and support the maintenance and development of data collection/analysis systems, including outputs and updating reference data in core applications. 

You must also promote the use of the relevant software systems and provide staff training in the use of college applications, create and maintain appropriate documentation relating to reports and processes and undertake projects as directed by the Senior Systems Officer/Head of MIS.

With a level 4 or higher qualification or equivalent in an IT related subject, you will have previous experience of working with computer database systems, business systems development and reporting and be able to quickly understand user and business requirements and provide solutions clearly.

Tameside College is a coeducational further education establishment. It is situated in the town of Ashton-under-Lyne, in Lancashire. It gives students a range of qualifications to choose from. This includes BTEC, Apprenticeships and degrees. The college also manages and owns Clarendon Sixth Form College, Camp Street, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire OL6 6DF.
