Facilities

St Therese’s Catholic Primary School has a wide range of facilities that support the students in their academic, sporting and cultural pursuits. The school has strong music, dance, drama and sporting programs. A number of brass, woodwind and string instruments are available to students for instrumental lessons. Classrooms are well equipped with modern equipment and technology to maximise teaching and engaging learning.

Curriculum

At the beginning of each year, classroom teachers hold information sessions to provide parents with greater understanding of the curriculum their children will be taught. St Therese’s School introduced the Australian Curriculum in the learning areas of English, mathematics and science. Specialist classes are also taught in the areas of health and physical education, music and languages. Religious education classes are also taught across all year groups.

School ethos

St Therese’s School has a strong focus on community spirit and creating a learning environment that embraces the Catholic faith through the Mercy tradition. The school motto, which translates to "Through the work of many, united as one, great things are done”, reflects the spirit of inclusivity.
