We are seeking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced in-class School Officer, to undertake a diverse range of tasks within the learning environment. The successful applicant will display proven communication and interpersonal skills, an understanding of early years' education and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a cohesive team. Flexibility, creativity and following directions, balanced with displaying initiative, are essential elements of the position. High levels of discretion and confidentiality are important attributes of the role holder. St Joseph’s is a place where all College staff work together to enable children to thrive and develop.

St Joseph's College Coomera is a Brisbane Catholic Education master planned coeducational P-12 College opening in January 2019. The College will be located in Coomera, 40 minutes South of the Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast.  The core values of the College will be Faith, Community and Excellence.

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   30 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   School Officer Level 3

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
