About the school

North Bute is a small, co-educational, non-denominational primary school covering the stages from Primary 1 to Primary 7. The school is situated in Port Bannatyne, which is two and a half miles north of Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. Our curriculum is matched to the programmes of study laid down in the 5-14 Guidelines and account is taken of the individual needs, abilities and aptitudes of the children. We aim for continual improvement in Standards and Quality, through careful planning, on an annual basis, to address priorities for development.

The local community is very supportive of the school, and there is a close working partnership between parents, staff and pupils.
