Salary: 

£33,896- £37,762 pa pro rata inclusive of London Weighting. Appointments are made at the bottom of the salary scale but relevant past experience is taken into account in the spinal point awarded.

Hours: 

35 hours per week, this post includes evening and occasional weekend work.

What’s the role:

To coordinate and supervise courses within the subject programme area; participate in curriculum development activities in liaison with members of the team, the Head of School and Assistant Principal; recruit, supervise and support part-time tutors and other staff as appropriate; carry out the necessary administrative and quality assurance procedures; and to teach on the programme as necessary.

What we are Looking for:

  • Have Level 2 qualifications in both Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent).
  • Have a level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent (e.g. stage 3 teaching qualification or PGCE), preferably for teaching adults plus commitment to complete further CPD or teacher training qualifications if requires.
  • Have experience of teaching (preferably adults).
  • Have experience of supervising or managing a team preferable.
