Job overview

We seek to appoint two excellent KS2 teachers who will inspire our children to achieve their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team who are committed to developing our school to secure the best possible outcomes for all our children.

Bampton C of E Primary School is situated in rural Devon in the beautiful village of Bampton, near Tiverton. We aim to give all learners the opportunity to grow in a Christian environment by empowering children to be fair and open-minded, reflective learners. Our pupils have amazing opportunities to explore and learn in our extensive school grounds and facilities, including our distinctive school building on the edge of town which opened in May 2008. We have high aspirations for our children and focus on the academic subjects as well as the Arts, PE and Sport. We want our pupils to enjoy their learning, achieve high standards, be resilient and become good citizens.

This is an exciting time for the school, being part of the newly formed Alumnis Multi Academy Trust. The Trust is an innovative and dynamic group of primary schools that seeks to put children and staff at the heart of the Trust. We enjoy a diverse mix of church and community schools which have a long-standing and successful partnership through the North Devon Teaching School Alliance.

In choosing to work within the Alumnis MAT, you would be well supported and have great opportunities to develop both as a teacher and as a leader. Our staff work well together within our schools; they are part of MAT wide teams, supporting and encouraging each other to develop and enhance practices.
If you would like to work for a forward thinking Trust that focuses on providing every individual child in our schools with rich, varied and exciting learning opportunities, then we would love to hear from you.

Visits to the schools are welcome and encouraged. Please contact the school offices on 01398 331121 to make an appointment.

Further details and an application form can be downloaded from bamptonschool.org/or requested by emailing recruitment@alumnismat.org.

Closing date: noon on 21/11/2018.

Interview date: 06/12/2018 and 07/12/2018.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
