Position Information 

Lindfield Learning Village (LLV) is a highly innovative new school which opened in Term 1, 2019. The school will become a K-12 school by 2021 with a projected enrolment of 2100 students by 2022. Current enrolment for 2020 is 375 students and will be increasing to 550 students in 2021. LLV is a flagship school for NSW Public Education, implementing a new educational model which includes stage-not-age progression and student-directed, transdisciplinary learning. Design-centred learning supports individual, personalised pathways for every student. All teachers are required to work in a collaborative co-teaching environment and to engage in researching their own practice. The school will be expanding rapidly over the coming years requiring agile, reflective change agents.


  
Specific Selection Criteria 

Approval to teach English 7 -12. Willingness to teach Drama. 

Demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of innovative, dynamic programs which are designed & differentiated to inspire, engage and support diverse student abilities and needs in all stages.

Demonstrated emotional intelligence and high-level interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage the relational challenges of co-teaching and multidisciplinary learning.

Highly responsive, agile and able to thrive in the ambiguity of a rapidly changing professional landscape.

Highly resilient and reflective, invites and responds to critical feedback to ensure continued growth and alignment to the Lindfield Learning Village’s vision, values and code of collaboration.

 

  
Conditions 

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
