• Senior Modern History

The ideal candidate is looking to progress into a Middle Leadership role.

About St Saviour's College

St Saviour's College is a Catholic Girls' residential school located in Toowoomba, a city in the Darling Downs region of southern Queensland. The secondary school caters to students from Year 7 to Year 12, and has a current enrolment of 200 students and 26 teaching staff.

The school was founded in 1873 by the Sisters of Mercy, and continues to live by two college mottos 'Virtus Sola Nobilitat', which translates to 'Power since nobility', and 'Integrity is our strength'.

Facilities at St Saviour's College include science laboratories, school chapel, performing arts hall, industrial art workshops, library and resource centre, specialised visual arts, language and music rooms, vast green playing fields and undercover outdoor learning areas.

Curriculum

A wide range of subjects based on the Australian Curriculum are offered to students. The core subjects are Religion, English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Health and Physical Education. Senior students are encouraged to follow their desired pathway, with additional school electives, these include Business, Chemistry, Fashion, Hospitality, Social and Community Studies, Accounting, Japanese, Human Movement and Recreation Studies. Vocational Pathways and career development is also integrated into student learning, where students receive information regarding post-school opportunities both in tertiary studies and in work.
