About All Saints' Primary School

All Saints Primary School is an independent Roman Catholic school in the township of Tumbarumba, which is situated at the base of the Great Dividing Range in New South Wales. A small school with 59 students and five teachers, All Saints is classed as an "isolated school" and receives funding from the NSW Country Areas Program. 

All Saints Primary is a systemic primary school in the Diocese of Wagga Wagga and is one of 27 schools under the direction of the Diocesan Catholic Schools Office.

Facilities

Each classroom has smartboards and the school has a library, book club and tuck shop. There is an outdoor hall and a covered playground, a vegetable patch and a memorial garden. The school has music, dance and drama programs; it recently began offering piano lessons having purchased several new keyboards.

Curriculum

Core subjects of English, maths and religion are taught each day. Physical education is encouraged and the whole school participates in weekly sport sessions. Children with skill or interest are able to pursue and represent the school in a variety of sports, such as swimming, athletics, cross-country, AFL, rugby league and netball. 

The school plays an integral part in the overall mission of the church at parish level. The parish priest, Fr Thomas Brancik, is responsible for the faith development of the children.

The school aims to develop the whole child spiritually, physically, emotionally and academically. In regards to learning, it promotes persistence, listening, striving for accuracy, questioning, inquiring, responsible risk-taking, being reflective and being open to learning. The school moto is "Heart speaks to heart".
