Bathurst High Campus, Denison College of Secondary Education, is a comprehensive high school, Years 7 to 12. It has an enrolment of 1084 and is inclusive of 12% Aboriginal students, 6% NESB and a large support unit. Along with its college partner school Kelso High Campus, an innovative structure offers cross campus senior curriculum and enhanced learning opportunities for students in all years. Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Legal Studies and a willingness to teach Society and Culture, Geography (7-10) and History (7-10).
- Demonstrated capacity to use evidence-based classroom practice that fosters a culture of high expectations that accommodates students with a diverse range of learning needs.
- Proven capacity to work collaboratively within faculty and whole school teams on initiatives that address school strategic directions.
- Demonstrated ability to write and deliver effective learning programs and assessments with the ability to use data to inform best practice.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
