Teaching ServicePenrith Selective High School is a fully academically selective high school with a coeducational enrolment of 925 students, including 80% of students from a non–English speaking background. 1. Approval to teach Business Studies, Commerce and Geography (7-10) in addition to a willingness to teach Economics and/or Legal Studies.
2. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver challenging, differentiated, teaching and learning programs and assessments to meet the needs of highly gifted students.
3. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with staff, students and parents as part of a highly collaborative faculty in addition to contributing to whole school and faculty initiatives.
4. Demonstrated experience in successfully using technology to enable quality teaching and learning.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
