Elmhurst Ballet School is a highly successful vocational dance school based one mile from the city centre in Edgbaston. In 2015 Elmhurst was judged by ISI to be Excellent in all areas and Exceptional in ballet.
For January 2019 the school is seeking to recruit a Teacher in Charge of History and RE (part-time). Elmhurst is academically non-selective but has excellent levels of student achievement. Students are taught in classes of around 25 at KS3, with small option groups at KS4 and KS5. The majority of students board at the school with a small number of day students.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that is highly successful where students have a desire to learn. Applications are welcome from NQTs as well as more experienced colleagues and those with another specialism.
Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the school by contacting Janet Clarson, PA to the Vice Principal, on 0121 415 2849.
Closing date: 12 noon on Wednesday 24th October 2018
Interviews: Will take place during the following 2 weeks
