The Role and you

The purpose of the job is to teach singing and musical theatre to BTEC level 3 Performing Arts and UAL level 2 and level 4 students. You will work to ensure high quality student learning through the most effective, efficient, and economic use of the college`s resources.

You will share your skills and knowledge with learners and utilise your experience to motivate students to achieve, ideally whilst developing and maintaining high levels of student retention and attendance. You will also develop ways of working that are responsive to learners’ needs, monitor and evaluate progress and practice.

The successful candidate will need to hold an appropriate degree/vocational qualification or equivalent. You will need to hold an endorsed teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this.
