About St Joseph's Parish School

St Joseph’s Parish School has at its very heart, the values of Learning, Love, Community and Respect, as Jesus showed. Together with engaged and supportive parents, the staff of St Joseph’s will create a safe and stimulating learning environment where each child has the opportunity to achieve his or her potential.

A school for healthy minds, bodies and spirits, St Joseph’s provides an authentic Catholic education with a strong focus on Social and Emotional development through the lens of the Catholic Faith. We believe that greater academic success can be achieved when children feel connected and experience a sense of belonging.

We are committed to join with parents, families and the community in partnership for the education, development and formation of our young people. Our school will provide students, as they grow and develop, with a high quality education which will equip them with knowledge, skills and the spiritual foundations needed to become well-rounded, active participants in society.

The first stage will offer Prep to Year 3 and a composite Year 4-6 class, until stage two is built and one class is offered in each year level in 2018.

The school will grow to be a single stream (one class for each year level) school for Prep to Year 6. We expect initial enrolments will be around 80 students and the school to grow to about 180 students. This will be a viable school in terms of numbers but still small enough to have a welcoming family-friendly community.
