Primary Teacher Contract Type: Contract Position Full Time Applications Close: 26 October 2018 Commencing 29 January 2019 till 31 May 2019 Selection Criteria:- Accreditation to teach RE in the Wagga Wagga Diocese (or working towards) and a commitment to the Catholic Faith.
- An effective classroom practitioner with a sound knowledge of the curriculum and contemporary pedagogy.
- A sound understanding of and experience in co-teaching and learning K to 6.
- Evidence of effectively integrating technology into teaching and learning and a good understanding of the use of Google Apps for Education an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively and a willingness to contribute to a professional learning community.
- Ability to incorporate appropriate behaviour management strategies.
- Is able to integrate and apply knowledge, practice and professional engagement as outlined in the descriptors to create teaching environments in which learning is valued.
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and provide evidence of working towards or maintaining Proficient level.
