We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and committed teacher of Biology to teach on our Applied Science and A Level programmes. It is an exciting time to join the College and we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting.
You will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed. You will prepare and plan innovative and effective lessons, monitoring the performance of students against Alps target grades and providing effective intervention strategies to ensure the success of all students. The role is predominantly teaching on the Level 3 Applied Science programme but you may be required to also teach A Level.
You will have relevant, successful experience of teaching both Level 3 Applied Science and A Level Biology in a post-16 setting. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate students with varied teaching and learning strategies.
A relevant degree (or equivalent) and a teaching qualification are essential requirements for this post.
The Sixth Form is a priority department for Loughborough College and we are looking for candidates who will work to develop the provision within this area and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery.
