Morisset High School is a proud comprehensive public school that caters for approximately 730 Year 7-12 students including 130 who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and five classes of students in our special education unit. Our staff commit to being informed professionals who cater for the educational, physical, social and psychological wellbeing of our students. The school continues to strengthen the Western Shores Learning Alliance (WSLA), to ensure a proactive K-12 approach to education is adopted. We seek input from the community to ensure all key stakeholders are consulted.
An active Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) and our Itji-Marru Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) support the school and have high expectations of an inclusive school that values and encourages community participation. The Positive Behaviour for Learning processes adopted by all schools in the WSLA believes that education is the key through being safe, being respectful in all situations, and being engaged in preparing for your future.
Staff and students promote life-long learning as the key to building a stronger community.
