Position Information

Westfields Sports High School (1660 students, including 75 Aboriginal enrolments and 125 students from a refugee background) includes a special intake of talented sportspersons. Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Mathematics 7 – 10 and Mathematics 11 – 12. Willingness to assist with Sports coaching.

Demonstrated experience in teaching senior Mathematics courses with a willingness to teach extension 1 and 2 courses.

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to contribute collaboratively to a dynamic faculty.

Demonstrated ability to integrate technology (ICT) into all aspects of professional practice to support and engage all students, including gifted and high potential students.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
