We require for the next academic year, a well-qualified and enthusiastic A level Business Studies/Economics teacher to work in this high achieving and very popular department. The department currently use Edexcel for both curriculum areas.  St. Dominic’s is an inspirational place to work.  The staff team are dedicated and gifted practitioners and the students are hard-working, committed and highly motivated individuals.  We promote excellence in all that we do and our culture and ethos permeates all aspects of College life.  We are an outstanding Catholic college and the faith life of our community is integral to all that we are and all that we aspire to be.  We have an excellent CPD programme and seek to develop all our staff in order for them to fulfil their potential.  We are part of the Maple Group of Sixth Form Colleges and have strong links with the other Catholic sixth forms around the UK.  Our students consistently attain well above national benchmarks in this department.  Application forms can be downloaded from the College website.

St. Dominic's is the longest established centre for Catholic post-16 education in the Diocese of Westminster. The College provides a wide choice of GCE A, Applied A and AS courses. In addition, BTEC Level 3/ Extended Diploma (Edexcel)

All students are fully supported by Personal Tutors in preparation for employment or higher education. The College provides a Religious Education programme for all students. The Course is accredited by the National Open College Network and students are awarded a Level 1 in Year 12 and a Level 2 Year 13. The examination success rate is outstanding and the vast majority of students progress to higher education.  A wide range of extra-curricular activities is available. 

There is easy access by Metropolitan/Piccadilly lines, British Rail and local bus services.

Leadership and management are outstanding. Pass rates are very high and have improved significantly over the last four years. The value added to students’ prior achievements is high, and progression to HE is very good.’           Ofsted
