City and Islington College is a highly successful College with an ambitious growth plan and outstanding financial health.  The College operates from five specialist Centres across the London Borough of Islington. 

We are looking for an outstanding teacher with high expectations of students to teach A-level Sociology at City and Islington Sixth Form College. Sociology is a popular choice for students at the Sixth Form with 11 classes in year 12. If you are enthusiastic, innovative, care about students and want to work in a supportive and friendly environment this may be the job for you. City and Islington Sixth Form College is a well-established and over-subscribed specialist A-level centre. We are situated on one site at the Angel in the heart of London and our wonderful students travel from across the capital to learn with us. All teachers are tutors to a pastoral group of up to 22 A-level students and we have a wide range of enrichment and extension activities to develop our students’ confidence and skills.
