The Governors seek to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Art and Design who has a proven track record of good or outstanding classroom practice. This post would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs.

Following a period of significant change Bishop Challoner Catholic Federation of schools are continuing to evolve and improve. The two schools will merge from September 2023 creating one co-educational school. We have state of the art buildings and facilities and a team of innovative, experienced and dedicated professional staff, Bishop Challoner is an exciting and supportive environment in which to work and develop your career.

Art and Design is a popular subject at Bishop Challoner, attracting high numbers of GCSE students. Working with a team of passionate and dedicated practitioners, you will join a highly successful department and contribute to its development by offering an innovative and thought-provoking curriculum and an engaging learning environment. We have excellent links with universities, local galleries, such as Chisenhale and Whitechapel gallery and are part of THAT network (Tower Hamlets Art Teachers).
