Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching in Secondary Schools.

Vision for Education is currently recruiting a specialist Teacher of Art and DT with experience of teaching to at least GCSE Level in Art, and Textiles. The ideal candidate will hold QTS and will have experience teaching both Art and Textiles, with the possibility you may also be able to support with Food Technology, however the Art and Textiles would be imperative. Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for flexibility and a minimal role, or an NQT looking to professionally develop your skills – this role would be suitable for you.

The role

This role is a long-term supply role through to the end of the Summer term, July 2022. The role is to start after Half-term, or as soon as a suitable candidate has been found, up until the end of Summer term. It is a full time role 5 days per week and is based at a large Secondary Academy in Rotherham, who are part of a successful Multi-Academy Trust and highly respected in the local area.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Art and Textiles Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching Art and Textiles in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE Level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Subject specialists.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
