Teacher of Art and Textiles

We are a warm and welcoming school where the concept of serving our local community is at the heart of all we do. We are looking for an inspirational Art teacher who will rise to the challenge of teaching this high performing and established subject within our Creative faculty. The successful candidate will be ready to contribute to an upward trend in results, which saw the Progress 8 figure rise to +0.93 last year, and he/she will display a willingness to learn and develop their teaching of GCSE Textiles. Recognised as 'Good' in all areas by Ofsted in 2019, we are looking for someone who will be committed to helping us continue our journey of improvement. Our students are our best selling point, and our staff go above and beyond in providing extra-curricular opportunities for them. We hope the successful candidate will further enhance this offering. Finally, and most importantly, we want someone who will inspire our students to engage and achieve, through embodying our core values: courage, commitment and compassion.
