Two Teachers of Art – one position is available in each of the schools.
Required from 1st September 2019 until 31st August 2020
We are seeking to recruit two full time Teachers (fixed term contract of one year) in the Art departments at King Edward VI Handsworth School for Girls and King Edward VI Aston School for Boys, from 1st September 2019. The successful candidate in each school will be joining an outstanding grammar school which are part of the King Edward VI Academy Trust.
This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for an outstanding classroom teacher to join vibrant, well-resourced departments which are both forward thinking and innovative. There may be an opportunity of a permanent position at the end of the one year contract in one of the schools. The successful applicant for both schools will need to have the ability to teach Key Stages 3 and 4. At Aston the ability to also teach some DT would be beneficial.
