The Role

We wish to appoint a part-time teacher of Art, 0.8FTE to work across KS3, KS4 and KS5 from July 2023. A TLR maybe available for a suitably qualified candidate.

At Trinity:

  • Students follow the Edexcel Art syllabus at GCSE and at A Level.
  • All classes are taught in mixed ability groups from Year 7 upwards.
  • The department is a closely-knit team who are collaborative on schemes of learning.
  • The art rooms are specialized and the department is well stocked with resources. Student’s artwork is displayed all over the split site school.

Trinity Catholic High School is a denominational, co-educational secondary school in Woodford Green, Essex. There are 1660 students on the school roll, 464 of whom are in the sixth form.

Founded in 1976, the school’s motto is "In Christ We Shall Flourish". Its most famous former student is Olympic gold-medal-winning athlete Christine Ohuruogu.

Religious teachings play an integral part in the Trinity Catholic High School ethos. The school operates on the belief that all are sons and daughters of God, equal in dignity to each other.
