Teacher of Art/Textiles

The Role

We wish to appoint a well-qualified, talented & energetic teacher of art and textiles who is committed to the progress and high achievement of all pupils in a nurturing environment where students are supported and challenged to develop their creativity, skills and insight to the maximum to join our experienced and highly successful team. 

To support the work of the Head of Department in raising the standards of teaching, learning and achievement within a framework that is consistent with and promotes the unique values and ethos of The John Roan.

About You

• We are looking for someone who:
• has combine subject expertise with a passion for Art & Textiles 
• has experience of teaching Art /Textiles
• can establish good relationships with, motivate and inspire young people, and who shows the potential and commitment to become and outstanding teacher
• is a flexible and perceptive classroom practitioner who can engage students across the age and ability range and enable all to learn, enjoy and make progress
• is commitment to personal, professional development and becoming the best that you can be
• has good interpersonal skills
