About our school

St. Andrew’s School offers a unique experience in an educational setting for pupils with a wide range of abilities, additional support needs (ASN) and a diagnosis of an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). We are very proud of the educational experiences that our pupils are offered and we continue to develop, improve and progress. The school provides a fusion of care and education for children and young people from  3 to 18 years.

The school is situated in a quiet area of Inverurie where those children who access Inverurie Academy  are only  a short walk away. Pupils are brought to the school using transport provided by  Aberdeenshire Council to ensure that they  are safe and cared for from the moment they  leave their homes till they  return, at the end of the school day.

Sensory Garden

Located to the rear of the playground area is a Sensory  Garden for which we won a ‘Green School Award’, presented to us by TOTAL earlier in the year.

Outside spaces

The school has a large and fully equipped playground area featuring swings, slides, roundabouts and many  more activities which prove to be very popular with the pupils.
