St Joseph’s College has a proud history of strong results within the Sciences and seeks to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Biology. 

Science is taught as a combined subject at KS3 and then as separate subjects at GCSE and A-Level. Approximately 30% of the GCSE cohort follow the Tripe Science route at GCSE, with the rest following the Dual award. At A-Level all Sciences attract at least one set of students in both the Lower and Upper Sixth. We have also begun to teach BTEC Applied Science at Level 3. 

Applications are invited for the position of Teacher of Biology to support the Head of Science in ensuring high standards of delivery of the subject at KS3, KS4 and KS5. The successful candidate will therefore be a dynamic and inspiring teacher who has a proven track record of excellent teaching.
