Teacher of Biology (Permanent/Full time) required for September 2021

Chigwell School is seeking a well-qualified, dynamic and committed teacher to join our highly successful science department.  It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have had experience in a similar role in another maintained or independent school. The successful applicant will be expected to teach biology at KS3, iGCSE and A Level.  This is a full-time permanent position required for September 2021.

The science department, indeed the whole School, provides a very friendly and supportive environment and this appointment would suit someone wishing to gain further teaching experience in this highly academic school.   The School will support you to achieve the best for your students.

About Chigwell School

Chigwell School is an independent, mixed, Church of England all-through day and boarding school for four to 19-year-olds,  located in Chigwell, Essex. The school has just over 1060 pupils.

The school can trace its history back to 1629, when it was founded originally as a boys’ school. It is run as an educational charity, overseen by a board of governors who are also trustees of that charity.
